So-called "procedural animation" usually means the style of creating all sorts of animation through instantaneous computer processing,especially with the use of algorithms, simulated molecular computing, public information, artificial intelligence etc. These procedural animations are widely used in online games, interactive games, experimental short films and television advertising. In traditional animation, each frame follows a forward developing line that decides on the narrative’s structure and limits. The charms of procedural animation is just the opposite; the animation frames are organically produced, not pre-decided by a director or animator.
